Saumya Gupta is a credit strategy leader based in Bengaluru, currently Head of Policy at CRED, where he has been shaping and scaling digital credit programs across pricing, segmentation, approval/limit enhancements, and rejected-user strategy. He has led credit strategy for a large portfolio (INR 20,000 Cr AUM), improving outcomes while keeping risk controlled (reported NPA ~1% and NCL improving from ~3% to ~2.5%), and has driven execution across risk operations, collections, data science, and technology to deliver stable launches and strong governance. Previously, Saumya held credit and analytics leadership roles at Capital One, and graduated from IIT Kharagpur in 2014.
